Guide
Following up and welcoming people in
Keep your word on every agreed follow-up, and make the first week feel warm.
Do what you said you'd do. If a follow-up was agreed, record it and show up. If the timing is wrong, leave the relationship in a good place.
The check-in
After an agreed check-in
“Hi [name], checking back like we agreed on [day]. What did you think of the invitation? Happy to talk through anything you're curious about.”
The welcome
When they join
“Welcome in, [name]. I'm so happy you're here. Introduce yourself to the community when you're ready, and tell me what you'd like to explore first.”
The question to remember
Ask your new member what they'd love to create with us, and remember the answer. It tells you how to support them.
