The VIP invitation method, step by step

The seven steps every Encounter invitation follows, from choosing someone to welcoming them in.

The VIP method is how Encounter invites. It's built so the person feels chosen and stays free to decide.

The steps

  1. 1Choose someone for a genuine personal reason.
  2. 2Send a personal message or voice note with the digital invitation.
  3. 3Let them explore and reply, without proposing a time up front.
  4. 4Once they're interested, hold a private 30-minute call with the guest, the inviter, and an Encounter leader.
  5. 5Open with about five minutes of introductions in total, then the shared video, then questions.
  6. 6They decide, and enroll through the inviter's MWR route.
  7. 7Welcome them into the community.

Why the order matters

The call comes after interest. That's deliberate. A message that asks for a meeting straight away makes saying no uncomfortable, and research by Flynn and Bohns shows people already find no hard to say. Giving room keeps a yes genuine.

The invitation itself

The English invitation lives at encounterlife.netlify.app and the Dutch one at invite.encounterlife.world/nl/vip. Both describe the private 30-minute introduction with the person who invited you and an Encounter leader. Use the link your team has agreed on: [LINK]
