Reviewing a first invitation

Lead with what works, ask one question, and let them make the edit.

Until you have 5 people on your team, stay with the regular daily. Once you have 5 people, join the Leaders edition and get both.

Most first invitations either over-explain or apologize. Help members keep the reason and cut the rest.

When someone shares a draft

Your reply

“Thanks for sharing this. The line about why she came to mind is lovely. What would happen if you cut the rest and let that line do the work?”

When nothing has been sent

Ask what's holding them back, and listen before you advise. The Málaga training's mastermind prompt helps: where do you tend to over-explain, apologize, or push for a decision? If you haven't seen it yet, it's available in the Community.

A gentle check-in

“No pressure at all. I'm curious, what's the part that feels hardest about sending the first one?”
